Yesterday was great, the days are starting to get warmer and longer, so after a bit of cleaning Mike and I decided to take Martin through to Parnell to hang out with his Aunty Danielle.
It was really good fun walking around the domain in the sun, with Martin running everywhere, looking at all of the fishes and flowers. He ate his first real icecream cone, covered in sprinkles, which actually surprised me because he ate about half of it before asking Michael to finish the icecream so he could eat the cone.
However, Martin did decide it would be fun to eat grass. He picked a blade and offered it to his Aunty, who promptly pretended to eat it behind her hand... BIG mistake! Martin thought she had actually eaten it, and so popped a piece in his own mouth, which he gagged out about 2 seconds later... but it didn't end there. He ran over and sat next to daddy, where he proceeded to gag and then puke up the chicken nuggets he had eaten for lunch, GROSS!!!
Moral: Enjoy your day out, but dont pretend to do anything, because your child may take it as gospel.
